The movie comes with its Bollywood package, and with all recent releases of both actors, the movie has definitely raised the levels of musical and artistic romance in Bollywood. Kartik Aaryan is set to win your hearts with this one. 


However, the movie isn't just about all the rosy parts of marriage and two people bonding in this pure attachment of love but it also brings out topics that are some current issues faced by both men and women in the society.


The fact that the movie doesn't steer away from bringing the real phases of marriage and of a woman’s life, makes this movie a superstar hit already in our hearts.


While marriages come with their own sets of packages, the movie focuses on an alternate way of looking at our traditions and expectations from marriages. It leaves stark criticism on the treatment of women’s bodies as objects and when violated as objects of shame for the society.

However, by bringing forward men like Satyaprem through the main character of the movie, the plot sets examples for thousands of partners out in the real world of what it means to be in love and be in a bond that is eternal, pure and requires sacrifices.


There have been several views on how the topics in the movie can be triggering, but if it is triggering it might be difficult to watch just how truth always is difficult to confront but it is what the society needs. 


If you’re a Bollywood fan and a lover of romantic songs, beautiful sceneries and comedic instances, this movie is surely going to turn out to be your new favourite. When you leave the theatre, you’d be blown away by the performances of all the characters, the choices of musical backgrounds, the plot and the powerful message that the movie seeks to put out that justice always needs to be served and that marriage is a lot more than just the beautiful phases of it.
