Book Review


Twisted Love is a part of the book series “Twisted” written by Ana Huang. Other stories by Ana Huang include Twisted Games, Twisted Lies and Twisted Hate. The twisted series has been gaining a lot of love and an enormous amount of followers owing to its plots, genres and character structures.


The series includes four best friends and each novel discovers the complexities of love, but what remains constant is the amount of support these friends have for each other. Twisted love has to be one of your favourites if you are into young adult and romance fiction. The novel opens up with twins, Josh and Ava. Josh’s best friend Alex Volkox is just the dark, grey character all books write about.



As the novel progresses, we witness the love that blooms between Ava and Alex. While Ava is a young, high spirited woman who always stands up for herself. 


Alex is totally the opposite and described as a man void of all emotions including the emotions like love and hate. Just like he describes, Aa changes his world for the best. He falls in love with her but also ends up breaking her heart and yes just like you, we too felt Ava’s heart breaking at that very point in the novel.

However, Alex Volkov doesn't back down from what he wants and basically spends an entire year moving across the country for the love of his life and to win her back. 



While everything sounds romantic, the novel has a lot of disturbing and triggering plots that can trigger all sorts of feelings, you might hate Alex but also would relate to his trauma. Ava is Alex’s sunshine, just like how he calls her. She brightens his dull world with her amazing nature. While Alex is ready to burn down the world for her, Ava is all about seeing other people happy.


If you’re into romance fiction, this book is a big hit for you already. You would love the dialogues, and the plot and most importantly you’d fall in love with all the characters in the novel and not just Ava and Alex, you’d be so intrigued to know more about the other best friends and their significant others. 


So, if you’re into cute romances with roller coaster rides that make you feel all the emotions at once, this series is definitely what you need.
