"That kind of love that only happens once in a lifetime, that kind of love that touches our hearts and always stays with us, that love that we compare with everything, that we seek, that we even hate... but that love that we make us alive makes us necessary and makes us the only thing without which another person is incapable of living... And I had just found it.”

Culpa Mia is a popular Spanish novel written by Mercedes Ron published originally on Wattpad. My fault is the film adaptation of the novel which has received love worldwide since its release.

During the era of books turning into films, this movie is so heartwarming and the characters are straight out of this novel and all the more realistic. Irrespective of having read the novel or not, the film leaves no space for disappointments or complaints.

It serves just the right platter of fun, romance and steamy scenes. So if you want to know whether a movie is a must to stream or skip, continue reading the article below.

Movie Review

The movie is much more than just your teenage drama. Well, actually without giving away any spoilers let's just say that it is something you would not have expected. It is a romance between step-siblings, different, isn't it? While the topic may be off-putting for some viewers, the film surely doesn't disappoint and it actually is much more than just that.

The movie revolves around the main characters,Nick and Noah. Noah has recently moved into a new town to live with her now stepdad and stepbrother. Struggling to fit in, she gains attention from all over, being the new girl, typical teenage drama right? While it may look like it, her character in general is so much more than that and everything which you just wouldn't expect from teenage dramas.

She is everything that usual teenage drama girls are not. She is a racer, a fighter and plays volleyball. Fascinating, inst it? Her character just doesn't prevent her from speaking for herself. She is always ready to bicker about her opinions with Noah and well Noah is just not Noah. If you’re into fictional romance,we guarantee you that this character is straight out of those steamy romance novels that get you hooked for days.

Noah is full of surprises too,he is not just the golden boy that his dad believes him to be but instead, he is into his playboy ways, drinking games and is a street racer and fighter. As the story progresses we feel this tension between Nick and Noah which they both find it so difficult to resist. It's like everytime they meet, they are getting more into falling for each other.

With amazing Spanish music, the movie sets just the right tone for a weekend watch with your friends. The movie is surely something you’d like to watch again and would not be able to wait for the sequel. Yes, the original book series has two more parts. While, it may not be certain right now about the movie’s sequel, we surely have our fingers crossed that we would get to know more about the story.

The movie definitely leaves you on the cliffhanger when both Noah and Nick's parents almost plot to get them separated but the only way we’d find out what's next is through the sequel.

"Happiness is something to be sought, not something to be easily achieved."

The movie is available on Amazon Prime
