The series is about Vasant “Vasya” Gawade, a sanitation worker who comes across a magical boon that can predict the future and creates curls in his life and everyone around him.

 

The story starts with daydreaming of Vasya being a successful man, but when suddenly wakes up, gets to know that her mother was caught in a robbery of Rs.2000 from a billionaire house where she used to work. 

After asking she told that she was willing to give a shirt to his son ‘Vasya’ as a gift on his 25th birthday. Having such a rough day Vasya went to ‘Madhu’ who is a sex worker and lover of Vasya. 

Besides having such a life Vasya is a kind hearted man as he helps an old lady who fell down and was also sleeping in her own shit. The old lady gives a “VARDAAN” to Vasya as he will receive all the news of the world in advance.

 

Being chased and beaten by Shetty man’s, Vasya treated his wounds, and also not knowing the fact about the ‘VARDAAN’. Slowly Vasya start noticing the fact about his boon is getting notification from his phone, and the early events going to happen shows up.

 

No one believes in him his mother, lover and close ones except his friend Peter, and they set out to exploit his newfound power and try to sell a vintage vase. But, unfortunately, fails.

Thus, states that by saying “Is this a blessing or a curse”, and “Is this a rain of good fortune or is fate pissing on Vasant”.

 

Being helpless, Vasant again tries to explain his 'VARDHAN' to everyone But, this time the events took place with his lover and a shopkeeper owner named Mahboob. Vasant tries to warn them about the events which are going to happen but again they ignore it.

 

Madhu, Peter and Mr.Mahboob starts believing in Vasant's talks as the events said were true by him. 

Vasant invests in the top coin a cryptocurrency with a friend of Shazia who is Mahboob's daughter which is going to sky up the profits 15 times the original. Vasant claims Madhu to be his queen and helps her to quit the life of a sex worker. Hence the title is given ‘AZZADI’ and goodbye to the old life.

 

The cricket tournament is going to start and hence betting goes on. Vasant and his team (Madhu, Peter, Mahboob and Shazia) start betting money on the cricket players. Vasant and his team because of the ‘VARDHAN’ winning the money endlessly, living a luxurious life.

 

There is a saying that “money changes people behaviour”. Vasant who was a kind person refuses to inform a tire factory in Chinchpokli it was going to catch fire. In the end, regret his father's skin burned in the fire who was working in that factory.

There is also a saying that when a “human starts claiming himself as a god they become fearless and start making mistakes”. The same case goes with Vasant as he claims himself a god and starts betting on a larger scale, as a result, police arrest him but Vasant handle the police in a great manner.

 

Mr Shetty the villain of this series is also a lover of Madhu and MLA of that area. As Madhu loves Vasant and also runs with him. Being jealous of Vasant and from his success, Shetty plans to arrest Vasant by declaring ‘Vasant doing a match fixing’. Shetty prepares the team by giving the targeting name ‘Vasant’ to  arrest. 

Vasant is clever and also gives a plot twist in the series escape from the hands of Shetty and his team. Hence the title given is “BAZZI”.

 Vasant dream of buying the villa comes true, and his mother and team move in, but what awaits in future no one knows.

 At last final of the cricket match results in favour of Vasant. Vasant starts touching the heights of the sky but forgets his kindness and slowly becomes a megalomaniac.

 It's New Year’s Eve having a grant party in the house of Vasant, where he gets information on his phone about cheating on his wife with Shetty.

Their relationship with his wife and with his team gets poor. There is a saying “getting information in advance is good but what if that information is wrong”. Hence, at last, the blessing turns into a curse.   

My  Personal Verdict

If you belong to a middle class or from a lower caste family this series is for you. This series tells you about the change in the behaviour of a human with a change in the flow of income.

Do give this series a try because it is certainly perfect for a break to freshen up your mood.
