Coca Cola:Vision and Mission: Informally known as coke, Coca Cola is a carbonated soft drink which is manufactured by the Coca-Cola Company. It was originally marketed as a patent medicine and temperance drink.
It was invented by John Stith Pemberton in Atlanta, Georgia in the late 19th century. But In 1888 Coca-Cola's ownership rights were sold by John Stith Pemberton to Asa Griggs Candler who was a businessman as his marketing tactics led Coca-Cola to its dominance of the global soft-drink market throughout the 20th and 21st century. Coca leaves and kola nuts (a caffeine source) these were the two names that refers to two of its original ingredients.
The present formula of making Coca-Cola remains a top guarded trade secret. But still a variety of reported recipes and experimental recreations have been published by the other marketers. The secrecy around the formula that has been used by Coca-Cola in its marketing is kept secret by having it in only a handful of anonymous employees. Colas, a whole classification of soft drink has been created by the inspiration of coca cola.
Concentrate is being produced by the Coca-Cola Company and then it is sold to licensed Coca-Cola bottlers which are throughout the world. These bottlers hold exclusive territory contracts with the coca cola company. They produce the finished product in cans and bottles from the concentrate supplied by coca cola company combined with filtered water and sweeteners.
A typical 350ml (12-US-fluid-ounce) can contain 38 grams of sugar which is usually in the form of high-fructose corn syrup in North America. The bottlers are then sold, distribute, and merchandise Coca-Cola to the retail stores, restaurants, and the vending machines throughout the world. The concentrate is also sold by the coca cola company for soda fountains of major restaurants and the foodservice distributors.
