Domestic abuse is something that may happen to any woman; illiterate women are not the only ones who could experience it. Instead, women will speak up to call for the male who engaged in domestic abuse to be punished.

In our nation, females are instilled with the responsibility of caring for the family from an early age. However, more girls are taught household tasks than studies in the countryside, which is bad for both the country and the future of girls.

If we don't enable our country's girls to become independent, then our country's women will only work in the kitchen, where almost 40% of the population lacks formal education. 

Poverty Reduction:

It has frequently been noted that during periods of inflation, a male family member's income may not be sufficient to cover the family's expenses.

The increased money earned by women also aids in lifting the family out of poverty.

NATIONAL MISSION FOR EMPOWERMENT OF WOMEN:

This endeavour to empower women was initiated by the Indian government. On August 15, 2011, this mission officially began at the national and state levels. This objective is to empower women by fostering their independence. 

Swadhar Ghar Scheme:

Girls above the age of 18 who participate in this programme receive free housing. The programme was started for homeless teenage females. In addition to housing, this programme insures people's access to food, clothing, medical and services, as well as their economic and social security. 

One-Stop Center Planning Scheme:

This programme assists women who are victims of domestic abuse. Additionally, women who experience this violence receive legal, medical, psychological, counselling, and other support. This plan is nothing short of a blessing for women. 

Beti Padhao, Beti Bachao Scheme:

It was created to raise public awareness regarding the welfare of females and their academic pursuits. This plan was initiated in 2015. Families of girls are encouraged to send them to school through this programme.

This programme, which was introduced in 2015, is intended for women who have experienced violence. Any woman who is a victim of domestic abuse can use this programme to phone a toll-free telecom service that is available around-the-clock and request assistance. Any lady can contact the police at any moment by dialling the number 181.
