Top 5 Netflix Series to Watch This Weekend

I'm always on Netflix. They got 'Breaking Bad!' How can you say no to that?
Tony Oller

We understand the trouble of scrolling through netflix and getting confused by so many titles. Netflix has over hundreds of movies and series but all from different genres and themes. While it has some really amazing options, we understand how difficult it can be for you to pick one.

That's where we come in, we have handpicked some of the best Netflix series to watch and streaming options for you so that you can save your time and grab your nearest popcorn tub and call up a friend to spend the saturday night with.

YOU (2018)

“The end of our story remains unwritten.” -Joe Goldberg

You is a netflix psychological thriller where a young bookstore falls in love with a struggling to write poet and everything goes down the road for the both of them. The series is messay, sassy, scary and definitely a lot to take in at once. In a way it can also be named, The Stalker Next Door.

The most loved sociopath has a very disturbing childhood and this pretty much explains why he is the way that he is. He believes all is fair as long as it comes down to love. He leaves a trail of bodies for his one true love, Beck who eventually cheats on him and finds out who he really is.

The makers give us a nightmare ride but also leave us all-blown up by the striking personalities of these characters. Don't we all feel something in our hearts when we come across messy and disturbed characters? Well, that is Joe Goldberg for you.

The Vampire Diaries

"When people see good they expect good and I don't want to live up to anyone's expectations."
-Damon Salvatore.

Well, if you’ve already seen this one then I might as well ask you, is it Team Stefan or Team Damon? This vampire based-series is the perfect go to if you are someone who likes romance packed with a lot of adventure.

The series feels like a ride with lots of emotional turmoils yet surprising actions. Elena s a young girl of 17 who falls in love with a vampire and is unleashed into a world where her life is in constant danger.

She has a heart of gold and tries to save her family while also fighting for love.

"You Wanna Gaslight Me? I'll Set The Gasoline On Fire"

Well, this is definitely one of my favourites. It is a perfect fun-packed family business drama. If you love watching business-centric movies/series then you must login to Netflix right now and dive into this story. The story definitely has its high and lows but you wouldn't feel like dropping or leaving it out in the middle almost like you’ve been pulled by it.

The main character is a businesswoman who would inspire you to take charge of the things around you. You ll be so motivated that you might even want to start up something of your own.

“Sometimes I am too competitive. Although the prize is not worth it.” — Lu

A roller coaster-like high school drama. At the first glance you would just feel this is the normal teen drama but as the episode progresses you realise the plot is too interesting to drop out. Each episode changes the plot and it's almost like a fast-moving train.

You’ll hate some characters and deeply sympathise with some of them. The main plot is finding out who killed marina and although she may be a selfish woman who didnt deserve to die you would probably be so engrossed in finding her murderer that you might even make a guess or two for her.

Money Heist

Okay, we’ve all heard about this one, but this particular series is never getting out of my favourite watch list. This robbery would make you fall in love with the thrill of adventure. The series brings out so many emotion
s for you that you find it difficult to contemplate all of them.

A group of robbers rob the bank of Spain so magically that it almost feels surreal. They lose some of their friends and almost ruin the entire plan only to fall back stronger and make so much money that they retire just after stepping out of the Bank of Spain.

Tokyo: “In The End, Love Is A Good Reason For Everything To Fall Apart.”

These were some of the Netflix series to watch for this weekend.
