To say that the above quote is one of the best i’ve ever read, would be an understatement.Over the years, we’ve realised that Christmas is better when we are with family. It's all about cakes, decorations, trees,games and presents. But what makes the day better is a good Christmas movie and some hot chocolate.
Love Hard can be your new favourite Christmas movie.The movie tries its best to steal your hearts with a fun romance showing how matchmaking on dating-apps can go wrong but also turn into something absolutely beautiful.
Natalie is not your average writer; she has transformed her profession while writing about her own dating experiences through these online dating apps. Every time that she has been on a date she has experienced something totally unexpected. She says that she isn't giving up as long as it gets her fun stories to write.
After some time, she finally matches with someone who is smiling and has a charming personality. Though, this may be long distance but they would rather spend hours talking to each other on the call than being apart. Natalie decides to meet him in person for Christmas. Little did she know that everything was going to change sooner and not later.
She might be a little hesitant to travel and meet her dating crush. She was insisted on by her boss who wanted a humorous column narrating her terrible experience.

The movie in many ways reveals that the path to find love is an unexpected and difficult one. Love finds you when you least expect it to and that's where the magic begins.When she realises that her crush isn't the one who she was feeling i love with, she immediately decides to leave.
However, she chooses to stay because she is promised that the fake-guy would help her get her crush and that's where the actual plot of the movie begins. Throughout the movie, Natalie realises that she must let go of her unrealistic expectations and go for what is right in front of her.
She feels that all this while she has been chasing a face who didn't even want her in the first place. If only she had gone for the one who she deeply connected with, things would've been a lot easier.
The unwilling to fall in love writer falls for the guy who lied and catfished her. She realised that even though he didn't look like the guy she fell in love with, there was something deeper to stay in their bond.
My Personal Verdict
The movie has some beautiful endearing moments. The heartwarming scenes of Christmas trees and family celebrations are just enough to steal your heart right away. The feelings with love give an emotional edge to the film and although there might be some unpredictable endings and bumps, the ride to this Christmas is an adorable one.
"Honey, sometimes blow-ups can be a good thing. You might not always get the ending that you want, but you'll get the ending that you need."
